A Sustainable Business Model

HEX partners with car manufacturers and dealerships to recycle expired electric vehicle batteries. They evaluate the battery's state and either reuse it directly or refurbish it before repacking them into a HEX unit.

With the estimated reuse lifetime of an EV battery ranging anywhere between five to 30 years, extending the life cycle could reduce the need for mining critical minerals.

Building Energy Awareness By Forming Sustainable Consumption Habits

The HEX user interface is designed to educate users about the currency of energy. It assists them in becoming more efficient by using only the necessary amount of energy. It offers user-friendly tools for planning, making users feel confident and enabling them to stay out longer. With the help of AI/ML technologies, the interface also acts as an assistant, responding to voice commands and guiding users to take action. As these actions become ingrained habits, they will have a positive impact on users' energy consumption in all areas of their lives.

Energy Simulator

The simulator feature allows users to see and prepare for future events. Users can choose the devices they want to bring and enter how much energy they will use in contextual units. This can then be saved as "Events" that are programmed into HEX guiding users’ consumption according to their plans

Energy Bar

The energy bar is made to clearly show how much energy is left in units of time that people can easily understand. It uses a dynamic light bar to quickly show the energy levels at a glance. Being able to check the energy consumption levels remotely helps users take action to prevent being stuck without power. This is especially useful for people who manage a fleet of batteries and need to keep track of them and perform maintenance.
